So far I naver had any concern, complaint.
I have talked about Dheu informally in different Puja pandals that I had frequented in Chennai too.
However, having a mixed reaction now.
The team in the shop at Kolkata continues to be approachable, supportive, helpful.
They agreed to arrange items that were out of stock (2 different sets recently).
Much appreciated that gesture.
However when I received both sets, design of one 'dhoti' was completely different.
Upon pointing out over WhatsApp, I was told I am the 'only person' who has complained ever (i.e., Dheu customers buy a particular design, when they don't receive it and receive something different which as per Customer Care team is similar, the customers simply accept it and I was an aberration to that sort of experience.
This is unfortunate, especially because we are talking about a clothing company which is making difference in the way Bengali males wear their clothes and I feel proud that Dheu is nothing but unabashed Bengali couture.
People responding should know not all designs look the same to the discerning customers and by giving an option to refund payments made, you are not doing a favour. I neither send back the dhoti & kurta nor opted for refund, but the e-conversation was very poor in taste. As I told this to the lady in shop later, wanted a lighter shade of yellow with lighter design for regular puja, however got a darker one that can be worn at festivals!
